Because Oakland and Armenia are both in our hearts.

We’re two proud Armenians and longtime Oaklanders who wanted to share the places and products we love most. Town Love started in 2024 as a way to highlight Oakland’s vibrant spirit and incredible small businesses—and has now grown to includeTown Love Armenia, a box filled with treats and treasures from Armenian-owned makers across the U.S.

Kim Bardakian is a PR maven with a knack for making connections and turning good ideas into great stories. Born in New York but rooted in Oakland, she lives for amplifying community and creativity.

Nicole Vasgerdsian is a designer with a sharp eye for detail (she’s the one reading the back of every label to see if it’s made in Oakland!). Her passion for beautiful design and thoughtful curation shines in every box.

Together, we’re a perfect “front-of-house/back-of-house” duo on a mission to celebrate the best of both worlds—Oakland’s unmatched creativity and Armenia’s rich heritage.
